Maths online taster course pilot

If you want a taste of teaching but do not have three days to spare, you could consider trying an online taster course.

The TDA is piloting an online teaching taster course for people interested in becoming secondary mathematics teachers. Participants will spend one day on a school visit and complete three online modules over a period of two weeks.

The online elements of the course will include video snippets, interactive quizzes, an online tutorial and discussion forums to allow participants to gain an insight of life as a maths teacher.

The pilot is based online with visits to schools in the south west. Places are limited. The school visits are scheduled for between 29 September and 17 October.
