The annual report from Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills identified and celebrated North Yorkshire schools and childcare providers, which judged them to be providing "outstanding care and attention".
Amongst the schools mentioned were St Aidans High School in Harrogate, which has now been in the list three times, Marwood Infant School in Great Ayton, Croft Primary School, and St John Fisher High School in Harrogate, which is featured for the second time.
Councillor John Watson, North Yorkshire county councils executive member for schools, said: "We are delighted that the hard work and progress made by North Yorkshire schools and childcare providers has been again recognised by Ofsted.
"It is particularly pleasing to see the progress made by Welburn Primary School and St Augustines School, Scarborough, both of which Ofsted had previously judged to be underachieving. It is also a tremendous achievement for those which are in the list of outstanding schools once again."
Councillor Watson added that the news came as "well deserved recognition" for all of the schools and providers on the list.
