A school in Lincolnshire has said goodbye to four respected teachers who have 91 years of experience at the establishment between them.

The Market Rasen Mail reported that Caistor Grammar School (CGS) will be without Keith Liddle, Judy Wood, Ros Christian and Peter Taylor before the start of the new term, with all chasing new interests after leaving the profession - including one becoming an Olympic coach.

Mr Taylor, who spent all 37 years of his teaching career at the school, seeing it double in size during his time there, is chairman of the British Table Tennis Association for the Disabled, taking the team to Beijing after representing them in the 1988 Paralympic Games himself, getting the bronze.

It added that Headteacher Roger Hale thanked all four for their hard work, wishing each of them happy retirement.

The news provider also noted last month that all CGS students passed seven GCSEs between A* and C grade for the second consecutive year.ADNFCR-1162-ID-18762637-ADNFCR
