Skidby school rated 'outstanding'

It was revealed by local newspaper Cranswick Today that Skidby Church of England Primary School, which faced the inspection at the end of the summer term earlier this year, was awarded with a level one outstanding grade for its foundation stage.
The schools inspectorate's spokesperson stated that the school had a high standard of care, a good curriculum and provides the children with "effective teaching and learning".
Ofsted's official told the newspaper: "Parents are generally supportive and praise many aspects of the school. These include the 'innovative teaching' the 'very approachable headteacher and staff' and 'the highly successful residential visits and regular communication."
Today, it was also announced by the Grimsby Telegraph that Signhills Junior School in Cleethorpes had received a "glowing report" from inspector Roy Bowers, with the establishment also receiving an outstanding grade.
