The effective practices in continuing professional development (CPD) project aims to help schools make improvements in their provision and evaluation of CPD for classroom based practitioners by exemplifying effective practice in CPD.
To help achieve this, the TDA has awarded grants of up to £20,000 to over 230 school based projects. Over 670 schools are involved as well as local authorities and higher education institutions.
During February and March the TDA hosted four regional conferences for representatives of participating projects. Delegates were given the opportunity to discuss the successes and challenges of their projects, receive input and support from the London Centre for Leadership in Learning and meet and network with representatives of other effective practices projects in their region.
