The Government is funding training for up to 4,000 serving teachers to take specialist courses in dyslexia. The TDA will support courses starting between September 2010 and February 2011.
The TDA is setting up a scheme to fund training places for teachers wishing to take courses recognised by the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) as leading to approved teacher status or associate membership of the BDA. TDA-funded courses start between September 2010 and February 2011.
