To recognise the high value placed on all support staff in our schools, work has continued to set up the School Support Staff Negotiating Body.
The body will be responsible for setting up and implementing a framework within which it will negotiate on the pay and conditions of service for schools support staff in all maintained schools in England. The School Support Staff Pay and Conditions 2008 document can be accessed on the Teachernet website.
