Other speakers included the TDA’s Executive Director for Development and Improvement, Dr Hilary Emery, John Kennedy from Ofsted and the DCSF’s Director General for Schools, Jon Coles. The TDA hosted six very well attended workshops. They included: Measuring the impact of extended services; The future of parent support advisers; and, How to prepare for the national roll-out of the extended services disadvantage subsidy funding.
Thousands of TDA publications were distributed on the day. Two were specifically produced for the conference: ‘Looking at the role of extended services in promoting community cohesion and guidance’ and ‘Practical examples of how to use the TDA’s impact evaluation model to measure the impact of extended services’.
