The continuing professional development (CPD) leadership project is building an evidence base of ways local authorities, the TDA and others support and develop CPD leadership in schools and considering the potential for them to develop effective support in the future.
The project is in phase two and each government office region has been awarded a grant of £100,000 and the opportunity to bid for further funding to develop CPD leadership. A national conference, for colleagues involved in the project, on 9 June will celebrate and disseminate the outcomes of phase two, develop thinking and plan for phase three, and update regional colleagues on the progress of national projects. We are consulting on the potential form of phase three of the project, and will keep regional colleagues up to date on progress. For more information please contact Tom Riley.
