A recent survey of local authorities and government offices examined how the TDA and regional delivery partnerships are perceived. It also investigated how activities might be improved, better tailored or more effectively positioned.
The results showed that 87 per cent of respondents rated the TDA’s regional support as ‘Good’ or ‘Excellent’ whilst 93 per cent rated the TDA’s programmes as ‘Important’ or ‘Indispensable’ in helping to do their job.
Participants agreed that the TDA:
- responds quickly to issues
- provides up-to-date information on important developments
- builds strong relationships and understand local issues
One respondent identified “An excellent and rapid response to requests for support; personal knowledge of our situation”.
Feedback indicated that our targeted interventions and regional events are key to the field force. Respondents also made suggestions on how services could be improved and we are currently examining these to ensure that that quality continues to be consistently high and that we continue to respond to changing agendas.
