The site has been redesigned to improve navigation and accessibility and has a number of exciting new features including:
- Improved navigation
- An enhanced search facility
- A personalised homepage for registered users
- The facility to rate a resource
- 'My TTRB' – a dedicated area where registered users can save their favourite resources and e-mail them to colleagues
For those new to the initiative, the TTRB is an online facility that provides access to research-informed resources for teacher training. These resources are quality assured by educationalists to ensure that they are authoritative, relevant and credible. The TTRB website is dynamic – categorising and tagging all materials according to potential audience and application.
Supported by the TDA, resources on the TTRB also offer a review of key policy and research documents that are relevant to schools. These include information relating to the Children's Plan, Every Child Matters and professional development.
The unique e-librarian service provides references to other online resources to help users research and inform their professional judgement. There is also a database of glossary terms and access to reviews of Teachers TV programmes.
The websites on the same platform as the TTRB have also been refreshed:
For more information about how to become involved in the ongoing development of the TTRB, e-mail the project team or visit the TTRB website.
