There are four regional networks for the administration managers of school-based initial teacher training providers. These networks meet annually in November.

Meetings for 2008

• North network: 12 November (Leeds)
• Midlands network: 13 November (Birmingham)
• South and South West network: 19 November (Taunton)
• London and South East network: 20 November (London)

The main focus of the meetings will be to:

• Disseminate information about the Independent Safeguarding Authority and vetting and barring, Criminal Records Bureau provisional registration and requirements for equality and inclusion
• Provide an opportunity for colleagues to share best practice and discuss issues
• Support administrators’ professional development
