An economist, David’s former appointments include serving as dean of the Leeds business school at Leeds Metropolitan University.
He is currently a member of the West Midlands regional sports board and was a founding member of the board of the lifelong learning sector skills council. David's publications include work on banking and international financial development with a particular focus on the expanded European Union.
