Schools are changing fast. They're adopting new ways of working that help them raise children's achievement and improve their chances in life.
The government asked the Teacher Training Agency (TTA) to take on a wider role - working with schools to help them develop and train their whole school team. On 1 September 2005 the TTA became the Training and Development Agency for schools (TDA).
