Policies

Here are our policies:

Code of conduct
Offering guidance and advice to all those affiliated with the TDA, as well as explaining to the public how we aim to conduct our business. We have recently updated the code of conduct so that it more accurately reflects our work and business and the requirements of staff.

Race and disability equality scheme (RDES) (2007–10)
The race and disability equality scheme sets out our vision for promoting race and disability equality in everything we do at the TDA as an employer and as a service provider. The action plans detail the specific steps we will take to make the vision a reality.

Freedom of information legislation
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI) promotes a culture of openness throughout the public sector. It gives the public a right of access to information held by public authorities such as the TDA. This legislation came into force in January 2005.

Sustainable procurement
The TDA has a statutory obligation to produce strategies to secure an effective school workforce, and in so doing, support the five environmental strategies covering air quality, biodiversity, waste, energy and ambient noise.

Continuing professional development
TDA advice to ministers on teachers' continuing professional development, including our remit and future work with key partners.

Intellectual property rights
This guide sets out the intellectual property rights of the TDA and our policy on allowing our material to be used.  Find out how to apply and what to expect from us when requesting copyright material, links to our website or adding our logo to your communications. It also outlines how we respond to requests for use of personal data and sponsorship.
