The TDA has a statutory obligation to produce strategies to secure an effective school workforce, and in so doing, support the five environmental strategies covering air quality, biodiversity, waste, energy and ambient noise.
Following appropriate consultation, we have developed strategies for each of these areas. We have also prepared a number of non-statutory strategies.
In our determination to become leaders in the field of sustainable procurement we will seek to identify and learn from examples of best practice. We will support and evaluate opportunities to deliver and promote sustainable procurement in all that we do. The TDA’s vision is to be an exemplary, sustainable, Government agency. Sustainable development for the TDA is about creating a better quality of life for our stakeholders, both now and in the future.
