This guidance complements the TDA's HLTA candidate handbook and explains how candidates can gain higher level teaching assistant (HLTA) status with a focus on supporting teaching and learning in food technology. It sets out the range of subject knowledge they should draw on and the evidence they will need to submit for HLTA assessment.
