Extended Services Toolkit for Governors

Publication summary

This toolkit has been designed by the Training and Development Agency (TDA) in conjunction with the national governor organisations. It is aimed at governing bodies to help deepen their understanding and skills around extended services to better equip them to support schools.

It can be used as a checklist or self-evaluation framework for schools already providing the extended services core offer in full and help schools that are still developing their extended services. For schools starting out, it can be used to kick-start the process and connect the school to the local authority extended services roll-out programme.
