This includes modular routes and training at higher education institutions (HEIs), school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) consortia and regional consortia, ie. employment-based initial teacher training providers (EBITT providers) providing the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP), Registered Teacher Programme (RTP), and the Overseas Trained Teacher Programme (OTTP).

Subject knowledge enhancement
In June 2008, the TDA invited all accredited initial teacher training (ITT) providers to bid for places for subject knowledge enhancement (SKE) courses.
