The college’s leadership development framework encourages leaders at all levels:

• emergent leadership - leaders not yet in assistant or deputy headteacher roles
• established leadership - assistants and deputies who have chosen not to become headteachers
• entry to headship - new headteachers or those close to headship (includes the national professional qualification for headship)
• advanced leadership - serving headteachers
• consultant leadership - experienced leaders who can help others.
