School performance
Better skills for life will enable staff to provide the best possible learning support to pupils, helping them to realise their full potential.
Studies show that training for support staff can have a positive impact on pupils’ attainment and well-being.
Other support staff also contribute to school performance, for example in preparing learning resources, analysing data and monitoring budgets. Improving literacy, language and numeracy skills will improve performance and increase productivity across the whole school workforce.
