DVD

A DVD has been produced which includes two short films about Skills for life:

Leading the way is aimed at school leaders and shows the important role of Skills for life in improving training and development opportunities for the school workforce. It uses case studies to show the benefits that schools have enjoyed by developing adult literacy, language and numeracy training programmes.

Journeys into learning is aimed at school support staff, this film includes interviews with people who tell how developing essential skills and gaining national qualifications have opened up new ‘life opportunities’. The film is an ideal tool to help school leaders introduce staff to Skills for life and its benefits.
