The British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (Becta) has developed a career progression framework for information and communications technology (ICT) support staff.
The framework is designed as a self-assessment tool, so that ICT technicians can identify the areas they need to develop in order to progress their careers. You can download the framework from the Becta website.
