The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) works to improve the skills of England's young people and adults and has been closely involved with the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) in promoting and funding training and development for school support staff.
A network of 48 local LSCs covers England and your local LSC would be a good point of contact for information about training and development opportunities for the school workforce. The LSC website gives a list of contact points for local LSCs.
