The Postgraduate Professional Development (PPD) programme’s triennial funding round 2008-2011 is now closed with 85 bids being received. This is the main PPD funding round and follows the triennial round of 2005-2008.

The PPD programme supports a wide range of programmes developed and delivered in partnership to meet the needs of participants and their schools.

The priority areas for this round are: behaviour management, subject knowledge, curriculum change, equality and diversity, special educational needs working with other professionals and school leadership. These reflect the national priorities for continuing professional development. However, provision designed specifically to address emerging school/local priorities as they arise is also encouraged.
