The TDA allocations team updates the database with allocation information, and schools information is downloaded from the Edubase system.
EBTTS training providers are responsible for updating the database throughout the year with information on trainees and their programmes and, when trainees have met all the required standards. They use the system to send recommendations for qualified teacher status (QTS) to the General Teaching Council (GTC).
Trainees' skills test results are transferred from the skills test system. Information is passed both to the trainee numbers census and the performance profiles databases for inclusion in analysis and published figures.
