The Allocations Team at the TDA allocates undergraduate and postgraduate ITT courses, such as BEds and PGCEs, to accredited ITT providers. This includes modular routes and training at higher education institutions (HEIs), school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) consortia and regional consortia, ie. employment-based initial teacher training providers (EBITT providers) providing the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP), Registered Teacher Programme (RTP), and the Overseas Trained Teacher Programme (OTTP).
Contact the Allocations Team at allocations@tda.gov.uk if you require any further information or have any questions or concerns.
Subject knowledge enhancement
In June 2008, the TDA invited all accredited initial teacher training (ITT) providers to bid for places for subject knowledge enhancement (SKE) courses. These bids were to provide additional courses in 2008/09 and all SKE provision for 2009/10 and 2010/11.
Following that exercise, we can now give details of initial allocations to providers.
A copy of the letter sent to all providers is available to download from the Downloads section on this page, along with a copy of the draft funding manual giving further details of the funding processes for SKE programmes.
For further details on SKE allocations, please e-mail allocations@tda.gov.uk.
