Here we provide information on the publication of ITT provider’s initial teacher training (ITT) new entrant place allocations for 2008/09, 2009/10 and 2010/11.
Details on the announcement on 4 April 2008 providing further information about the role secondary ITT providers will play in preparing new secondary trainee teachers for the new 14-19 Diplomas are also listed below.

Allocations
On 4 April 2008 the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) announced allocations of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) places for the 14-19 Diplomas and a range of other initiatives and support to encourage ITT provider involvement in the development of 14-19 Diplomas.
These places are to be phased in during the period 2008/09-2010/11.
