Regional seminars
A sequence of invitation seminars took place between October 2005 and March 2006 in nine locations in England. Those taking part came from university departments of education (UDEs), school-centred initial teacher training schemes (SCITTs) and from designated recommending bodies (DRBs). The seminars offered providers of teacher education and training a chance to participate in and share their views on the Teaching 2012 project.

Reporting on the debate
We recorded the conclusions that emerged from the seminars in a report. The report captures the ideas and opinions of those who educate and train the schools workforce today about what needs to happen tomorrow.
