The aim of this requirement is to ensure that schools and other settings or organisations that contribute to the partnership are full partners, are actively involved in the training partnership and that they work together, under the guidance of the accredited provider and within the context of the partnership agreement, to select, train and assess trainees against the qualified teacher status (QTS) standards.
