All local authorities are required to provide the TDA with a report to verify their income and expenditure of TDA grants during 2007-08. The grant verification exercise for 2007-08 covers:
- higher level teaching assistants (HLTA):generic grant
- HLTA: mathematics and science grant
- support work in schools (SWiS) qualifications grant
- school workforce modernisation and development grant
- golden hellos for newly qualified school teacher
Download the grant verification report template (Excel 1.4MB). We need your chief finance officer to review and sign off this report. This is in accordance with their responsibilities under section 151 of the Local Government Act 1972.
The deadline for local authorities to submit their grant verification report is 30 September 2008.
