Regional networks for administrators of school-based ITT

There are four regional networks for the administration managers of school-based ITT providers.

The four regional networks are:

  • North
  • Midlands
  • South and South West
  • London and South East

The purpose of the regional networks is to:

  • enable professional development for those who manage the administration of school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) and local employment based initial teacher training (EBITT) provision, to support them to develop their skills
  • promote and develop the sharing of good practice between administrators
  • update administrators on national policy developments
  • support administrators who are new to the role or less experienced through a mentoring system

The regional networks meet annually in November.

There is a National Advisory Group with representatives from each network. This group is responsible for planning and chairing the annual regional networks meetings, providing support and mentoring to new or less experienced administrators and attending the bi-annual National Advisory Group meetings.

For more information about the regional network meetings or the possibility of mentoring, please contact inspection@tda.gov.uk.
