The Training Managers’ Conference was held on 12 June 2008 at the Russell Hotel, London.
During the course of the day, 16 workshops were run, led by training managers of school-based providers, TDA staff and other ITT colleagues. Each delegate was asked in advance to select four workshops to attend on the day.
The workshops covered a variety of different topics and issues, but many had the aim of sharing the progress that school-based providers have made in developing provision in relation to subject knowledge for teaching and school-based training. Other workshops included teaching outside the classroom, e-portfolios and 14-19 diplomas.
