The purpose of this workshop was to support school-based ITT providers to develop learning opportunities for trainees, as a follow-up from the January 2006 workshop.

Providers received a draft copy of the subject knowledge for teaching framework, and aligned this to the draft revised standards for QTS.

Providers then explored how they could use the framework to review their subject knowledge provision within their organisations.
