Partnership

While the national partnership project (NPP) has now ended, ITT partnership remains a key area of work for the development directorate of the TDA.

The TDA partnership team is developing areas of policy that will build on the successful work that was carried out under the NPP. These will look to build capacity and quality in school-based placements for initial teacher training (ITT).

The three main areas of partnership work for the new academic year (2005/06) and beyond are:

  1. Training school support.
  2. Partnership development schools.
  3. Provider link advisers.

Further details of these areas will be posted as policies and materials are developed over the course of the year.
