The subject resource networks (SRNs) provide ITT trainers with information on current thinking, research, materials and professional networks within their subject area, both within the UK and internationally.
If you are a new tutor please contact your relevant network for information about their free induction program.
Subject-specific induction for new ITT trainers is developed and maintained by subject interest groups through freely available web materials and sponsored face-to-face induction programmes.
These websites, funded by the TDA since 2004, have been developed by subject associations and were formerly known as subject induction programmes.
Relevant resources can be searched via the TTRB or follow the links on the right to access individual SRNs. As part of its cross-curricular commitment and sustainability focus the TDA is also supporting the UK ITE network for Education for Sustainable Development/ Global Citizenship which was officially launched in July 2007 and hosted an inaugural conference in July 2008.
