The recruitment and retention challenge grant scheme replaces the recruitment challenge grant (RCG).
The new scheme has much wider scope in supporting both recruitment and retention in challenging areas including BME, disabilities, addressing gender balance and priority subject recruitment. Grants will be paid where a case can be made which addresses a particular challenge to that provider. Providers should discuss these challenges with their provider link adviser
