This report is based on research commissioned by the TDA in December 2004 and carried out by Pye Tait.
Fieldwork was carried out during 2005 with the aim of collecting information about candidates’ experiences of undertaking HLTA training, preparation and assessment. The report offers a number of recommendations which have been helpful in informing the planning and implementation of phase 2 of the HLTA programme
