The deliver stage

The deliver stage is when the plans that were formed in the develop stage are fully confirmed and agreed and start to be implemented.

It is essential a continuing review process is in place.  This ensures that as solutions are put into practice and change occurs it meets the original goals and provides the anticipated benefits identified during earlier stages. There may be a need for solutions to be modified to ensure the school moves towards the vision of the future shared by all staff.

Monitoring and evaluation are essential for successful delivery. Schools with an embedded, sustainable and proactive remodelling culture continue to run remodelling change cycles as new issues and opportunities arise.

A culture of openness to change and progress enables schools to consistently work to their best, with their staff well supported and confident that their work is valued. Teachers are able to focus on their core teaching work and, consequently, teaching and learning benefits.

Schools reach out to share their experiences with other schools and agencies, either directly, face-to-face, or via case studies and articles, such as those on this website.

As effective and sustainable solutions are developed by and involve all staff there is enthusiasm and commitment around their implementation and universal support for their success. Staff have been directly involved in managing all aspects of change, it has not been a top-down process.

At the end of the stage:

  • the plan has been rolled out
  • the associated goals and benefits have been achieved, and
  • a proactive culture of change is embedded.
