Remodelling tools

A proven process is key to implementing sustainable change. For example, to support the implementing of the national agreement, remodelling advisers and remodelling consultants within the local authorities were trained in the five-stage process of M4D (mobilise, discover, deepen, develop, deliver), with the aid of a number of tools and techniques.

Then, extended schools remodelling advisers and extended schools remodelling consultants undertook training to support the implementing of extended services.

The recommended tools and techniques that were applied during training for both the national agreement and extended services were designed for dynamic and effective group working. Each tool listed here has with it a summary of any resources needed, and the intended outcomes. A link to case studies on managing change is at right.

For details of events where these tools and techniques are demonstrated, contact your local authority extended schools remodelling adviser or local authority workforce team.
