Training and assessment for support work in schools (SWiS) qualifications are delivered by training providers across the country. Training providers are accredited by one of the four awarding bodies listed below.
Please note that City and Guilds do not offer the SWiS (Parent Support) endorsed pathway
Support staff and their line managers should contact their local authority to find out which training centre is offering training for their region.
Local authorities can download a spreadsheet to find out which training providers are accredited to offer SWiS training and assessment. The spreadsheet will be replaced by an online version of this information in early 2008. If there are no providers in your area please email swis@tda.gov.uk for further information.
