Review of learning, development and support services national occupational standards

In its review of the learning, development and support services national occupational standards in England, the Children's Workforce Development Council is seeking the views of support staff such as parent support advisers, education welfare officers, learning mentors, Connexions personal advisers and others working with these standards. Stakeholder consultation events are to be held in Birmingham, Leeds, London and Newcastle (booking deadline 1 August).

Feasibility study into the need for occupational standards for cleaning and support services at Levels 1 and 3

Asset Skills, the Sector Skills Council for the places in which we live and work, has recently had approval for National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Cleaning and Support Services at Level 2. 

It is now undertaking a feasibility study to assess the need for NOS at levels 1 and 3 in this area.
