Librarians
Librarians manage all the library resources in a school, including print, audio-visual, online and e-learning material. Other activities qualified librarians and library assistants also typically engage in include supporting literacy initiatives in schools, promotional and marketing activities, and contributing to the extended schools programme. The exact role of a librarian within a school will depend on the individual setting they are employed in. Secondary school librarians may be employed to head of department level.
