G&T in a Nutshell is a series of free self-study resources produced for education professionals by the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth.
Nutshells provide a basic introduction to key topics and issues within gifted and talented education, and address some of the most frequently asked questions. Each Nutshell takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and includes suggestions for more in-depth exploration of the topics covered. They are designed as a resource which can be used by an individual, or in group professional development sessions.
Nutshells are aimed at headteachers and senior managers, gifted and talented coordinators, classroom teachers, initial teacher training students and school governors.
