Things to consider when choosing an EPD activity:
- There are many continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities within schools themselves.
- Professional development should be an integral part of a teacher’s everyday life. This is an underlying principle of new professionalism.
- Match your EPD activity to desired outcomes. For example, you could aim to have an impact on pupil progress, broaden your subject knowledge or develop the skills and understanding needed to take on a new role.
