Review and link to pay

Your review will form, where appropriate, the first part of your planning and review meeting. It is here that you and your reviewer will draw on all the evidence – from classroom observation and other sources – that you have shared during the cycle.

At the meeting, you will be assessed on your performance during the previous cycle against the performance criteria agreed at your planning meeting. Where you are eligible under the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document, your reviewer will make a recommendation about your pay progression.

To get a better understanding of the benefits, you are advised to read the relevant sections in the revised performance management regulations and RIG’s guidance (see links in the downloads column).
