Numeracy QTS skills test

In this section you will find information and practice materials which should help you prepare for and pass the numeracy skills test.

The QTS skills test in numeracy is intended to ensure that everyone qualifying to teach has a good grounding in the use of numeracy in the wider context of their professional role as a teacher.

The test must be taken by all trainees seeking to gain QTS regardless of the subjects and age ranges which they are training to teach. The test does not assess the broader range of mathematical knowledge which is required by those training to teach mathematics or numeracy.
