Making special arrangements

If you previously required special arrangements in a test or public exam you can request the same for the QTS skills tests.

Contact the candidate helpdesk on 0845 450 8867 to book a special arrangements test

When registering online for the tests, you need to state that you require a special arrangement when prompted. You must then book a special arrangements tests by telephoning the candidate helpdesk on 0845 450 8867. (The helpdesk is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.) Please do not book a standard test online first.

You do not need to submit an application form or evidence for 25 percent extra time, although the TDA reserves the right to request proof that candidates require special arrangements. If you require arrangements beyond 25 per cent or your need is not listed on the website, you will need to submit an application form (Word, 61KB) and evidence, in the form of a medical report or educational psychologist’s report.

For information on possible further provisions, please contact the special arrangements team at: tdasa@pearson.com
