Test results

The tests are computer marked. When a test has finished you will be provided with a printed score report immediately.

Log in to your account
Book/amend your test appointments, view your test history and view/amend your personal information.

Test results are uploaded by test centres to our database on a daily basis, but this process can take up to 48 hours to complete.

  • Candidates are strongly advised to check that their records have been updated correctly after each passed test by logging in to your account and selecting 'view test records'.
  • In the rare case of a test not uploading correctly, the encryption code on the printout can be used to track and verify a test result.

For unsuccessful candidates

  • The printed score report will display feedback outlining the general areas of the test in which you performed less well.
  • For reasons of test security, it is not possible to provide feedback on any specific questions.
  • In the event of a fail please see the retaking your tests page for more information. If you are having trouble passing your tests, please refer to your training provider who should be able to provide some assistance.

For successful candidates

  • A print out confirming your pass will be given at the centre
  • Each trainee is responsible for his/her printout and will only be provided with one printout on passing a QTS skills test
  • This printed report is not a formal certificate. The only documentation that should be requested from a candidate to prove that they have passed all QTS skills tests is the QTS certificate. The QTS certificate is awarded by the General Teaching Council for England (GTCE) once all the standards, including that of the QTS skills tests, have been passed.

Once you have passed all three QTS skills tests your training provider will be able to confirm this by accessing the TDA results website. It is strongly recommended that trainees keep these printouts for their personal records only.
