All ITT providers must ensure:

The aim of this requirement is to safeguard the standard of qualified teacher status (QTS) in England by ensuring that providers of programmes of initial teacher training (ITT) have rigorous internal and external moderation procedures in place to assure the reliability, accuracy and consistency of assessment of trainees.
